Item Description: Super rare and amazing! True vintage, very desirable top quality and dead stock (never used) with all store tags attached, men's two piece cabana surfer suit. Labels reads; Custom styled for Catalina, a California creator, "S" for small, made in USA, Los Angeles, Styled for the Stars of Hollywood. The tags name these two pieces as "Malolo Mariner" style.
Features on the shirt are metal talon zipper front closure, angled side waist slit pockets, open wing cut collar, cuffed short sleeves, gathered yoke with back elastic waist, trimmed in white and black applique racing stripes shaped like a boomerang V and famous Catalina's flying fish logo patch, two paper Catalina store tags attached.
Tagged as a size: waist 30. Features on the shorts are double button waist closure, elastic back waist band, talon metal zipper, small front waist pocket with button down flap, black and white applique side racing stripes sides and famous Catalina's flying fish logo patch, these can be used as walking shorts as there is no built in mesh underwear, paper Catalina store tag attached. The display mannequin measurements are chest 38 inches and the waist is 32 inches but please go by the measurements below as sizes have changed through the decades and there is no returns if items don't fit.
Condition: Clean excellent dead stock (never used with store tags), no rip, holes or odors, there is a very slight and faint discoloration from age to the collar and shoulders of the shirt, this is very hard to see and is very minor but it is there (see photos). Same with shorts slight faint discoloration from age on the left racing stripe white area, very minor! (see photos) Sold as is! This is killer groovy very mod surfer cabana set for any cool or hot event, you won't be disappointed with these babies!
Color and or pattern: Rich jewel tone aqua marine, black and white. Pattern is like solid man! a very groovy cool mod surfer look!
Material: Sanforized cotton fabric, looks feels like a top quality smooth linen.

Chest size across from underarm seam to other underarm seam: 41 inches around.
Shoulder length from seam to seam: 17 inches
Sleeve length from shoulder seam to hem: 9 inches
Shirt length from the back of collar top to bottom shirt hem: 25 inches.
Measurements for pants or shorts.
Waist: 27 1/2 inches around not stretched and barely 32 inches for tight look stretched, best as a 31 inches.
Leg length from inside seam: 5 inches.
Crotch length, top of waist to bottom of crotch seam: 13 inches.
Total length of shorts: 16 inches.
